The other, holding the faucet. Water fills the kettle. It now rests on the stove. A gift shop mug from the Hobby airport on the counter. A whistle fills the room. Marigold petals and mint leaves sit in the tea infuser. The hand grabs the kettle of heated water, now pouring in the mug to the rim. The tea infuser sits, brewing. A few drops of honey dance to meet the ceramic bottom of the mug. The tea infuser floats. The honey creates a decadent mixture with marigold petals and mint. Lips on the rim of the mug. A few sips of the brew. The tea of October belongs to the morning for endless comfort. Faye, the birth flower tea, created to bring more than just a dose of ease with each sip.
